Science Graduate program

Participants working in the fieldThe Science Graduate program is a training and development program open to recent graduates of science agriculture and related professions. During the program you'll undertake specific training and development activities alongside your normal project work.

The aim of this program is to provide and develop broad exposure to policy, research and engagement skills. It will also enable you to gain specialist skills and experience that will support a sustainable career with the department.

The program is run in partnership with the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) and involves three rotations through relevant teams around Victoria.

Graduate working in the labThe duration of the program is two years, with placements in different departmental locations either in Regional Victoria or Melbourne Central Business District. Rotations are designed to help provide you with a well-rounded understanding of your chosen sector.
