All tenderers bidding for publicly funded contracts valued under $20 million (inclusive of GST) will be encouraged to maximise the use of local apprentices, trainees or engineering cadets.

The Major Projects Skills Guarantee applies to building, construction, infrastructure, civil engineering or other capital works.
