Taxis and hire cars in Victoria are regulated by the Taxi Services Commission (TSC) which was established in 2013 as part of the Taxi Industry Inquiry. In addition to regulating the industry, the TSC is tasked with implementing reforms which aim to create a more responsive industry to benefit customers.
