Support for workers

Is your job being affected by the closure of car manufacturing?

The Victorian Government is helping automotive workers to find new jobs by providing free support services and subsidised training to improve your chances of finding new work.

Training and jobs advice

As an automotive worker, you have valuable skills and experience that can help you find a new job in other areas of the automotive and manufacturing industry, or in another industry.

Skills and Jobs Centres have been established in TAFEs across Victoria to provide you with advice on employment opportunities, and retraining options. They can also help you develop the skills you need to search and apply for new jobs.

South-East Automotive Transition (SEAT) Skills program
